Never get a minute off...

Okay. So this week has been crazy. From placement testing for SCC, getting on the waitlist for stats, getting off the waitlist, starting and finishing my first of two summer assignment books, cheer camp, etc., my week has been a blur. I have had a lot of interesting experiences to say the least. But gosh, it's been trying. I have yet to swim this summer. I don't necessary dislike being so busy, but it's hard never getting a break from full throttle mode. No matter how hard I try, I just can't seem to take a step back and relax, but reading is pretty close to relaxing, I guess. The book I chose is depressing and bizarre in certain elements, but a quick read.

I feel that if I actually write something entertaining (along with more advertising of its existence), I might get some more traffic on this blog. Here are my top peculiar/strange/fun/amusing moments of the week, in no particular order.

#1 I was so dang sore, I was uncomfortable sitting still and doing absolutely nothing, so you can imagine how terrible it was to move (after the first day of cheer camp). I was so gawkward that it pained me (gawkward= gawky and awkward). If you know me at all, you know my love of coining my own fun/bizzare terms and names for just about everything.

#2 I finally checked Post Secret, which I find completely intriguing. I wish I were brave enough to do that. But then I'd have like 5000 secrets to choose from and no clue what to send in. It would open a can of worms, if anything.

#3 Thisiswhyyourefat.com. Check it. It is probably better than any appetite suppressant in the world. Most of the food, if consumed, would be vomit-inducing.

#4 Top Chef judge Jay Rayner. I think he is awesome. I love Top Chef. The Masters edition is really cool. I love how people who used to judge Top Chef are getting judged on Top Chef Masters. It's not Jay's accent or anything in particular that makes him awesome, he just is.

#5 FML. I feel terrible saying it, but that site is just fantastic. I just started frequenting it and I have been so amused by it that I feel like a horrible person. Oh well, people don't post FMLs for no one to read/see them. Here is my FML for this week: Today, I tried to post an FML and got outright rejected. FML.
Nah, my life is not bad enough for that. I posted something that happened a while ago, but you have to start with "Today" and end with "FML." I thought it was entertaining too. It's kind of like Post Secret. Once I start putting up FMLs, I have so many to choose from that it would be ridiculous to try and post them all. I'd have to post one every day for a year to catch up with all the ones that happened before FML existed.

I have to go back for UCSB now. Peace.
